Owlways Have fun............

Also available in clear stamp from HERE.
Afternoon all!

I am so excited to share this gorgeous cutie with you all. I had so much fun merging up all the sweet little digital elements in this set, especially the little line of owls and the sentiment on her dress!! I love how you can do that all to fit how you want with digital images!! soooo much fun!!! Just look at everything that comes included with the set...

Today I have a sick Little Mo. We had an awesome day Yorkshire Wildlife Park yesterday and he adopted the meerkats like he wanted to but today he woke up with an awful temperature and cough. He is all cold and clammy to touch but I am keeping him dosed with paracetamol to make sure his temp is on control.

We've had a snuggle on the settee tv morning but he's taken himself off up to watch his iPad in bed for a little while now. Poor Lil guy.

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxxx

Scrappy....

Image- Scrappy.
Good Morning everyone!!

It's Lou in for you today with a make using the super sweet new Scrappy. oh my!! he really is the cutest little pawsy guy you ever did see!! and super fun to colour up too.

I really had a blast making this card, it was so relaxing to stitch a little twine through the holes on the heart and as per Lou-sual, there had to be some scissor distressing of the edges!! I cannot wait to get back out into my 'real' crafty room and plug in my distress it all machine again! it makes it so much easier!!

It's half term break here so today we are off to Mo's favourite place, Yorkshire Wildlife Park. He is super excited because today he is going to adopt an animal while we are there in memory of Grandad. I'm not sure which one he is going to go for!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Baby Fairy Buttercup.....

Image- Buttercup from 3 Baby Fairies set.
Morning everyone!!

I'm in with my Dream Team make for you today and I just couldn't resist using the super sweet little Buttercup from the 3 Baby Fairies set. This set has still got to be one of my most used purchases from the shop. Just look at all the cuties in this one...
I printed her out and then 'cropped' her some with my circle die so she kind of looks like she is peeking through the flowers.

So the blister on my heel is not playing ball!! It's so big and raw it's annoying!!! Yesterday my Dad took a look at it on facetime (....I blooming love the magic of facetime!!!) and he said to get it out in the air as much as I can to help it dry out. Hopefully, this new plan of attack will rid me of it!! he he he!!!!

Today I am going to do the school run and then get stuck in on the mess that is my craft room again, it is driving me bonkers but yesterday Scott finished taking all my units out for me so it really is a case of me knuckling down and sorting it now so I can get creating out there again. It's such a beautiful space when it is sorted so I know it's worth doing.

Right, a cuppa is calling my name!! Thank you for popping in,Hugs Lou xxx

Wishing you tons of fun..........

Good Morning everyone!

I'm so happy to share this super sweet and jolly elephant stamp from the Gummiapan section in the Swedish House Crafts shop. It is one of the most fun sets I have played with in a while! Just look how cute the elephant and his teeny mouse buddy are!!

Here's a closer look at the little mouse! I added a little glossy accent to his balloon, I love it!!!

I wanted to share a little tip with you for any stamps you may have that have kind of flimsy parts in the but they have a matching die that needs to fit properly too before you cut it out.

I place my rubber stamp on my work surface with the stamping side facing upwards. Then I lay my die over the top with the cutting blade facing upwards too ( because that is the direction it will be facing when it cuts your stamped image out).

Then I take my stamping platform or acrylic block and lay them down on it together and gently push the stamp down onto my stamping platform, taking care not to disturb its placement in the die. Once it is stuck down nicely to your stamping platform you can remove the die, ink up your stamp and stamp away as normal, safe in the knowledge that it will be perfectly placed when you come to cut it out with your die.

I decided to paper piece my elephant to add some extra fun to the card. I love paper piecing and this stamp set is perfect for it with those gorgeous bold ink lines. I stamped him onto a scrap of patterned paper from my bits box and then fussy cut him out with my scissors. Then all I needed was a little glue on my fully stamped image to adhere the patterned elephant over the top!! so much fun!!

I love how the little sentiment in the stamp set goes with the elephant being so big so nicely! It really makes the card come together!

For a little interest, I couldn't resist a couple of little fishtail banners to the card. They just felt right for the party mood!! he he!!!

This is just such a fun set and I can't wait to use the whale next! but for now, I've totally got to get a wriggle on and get a cuppa before the desert in my mouth grows cacti!!!

Thank you for peeking in!! Huge hugs Lou xxx

Wryn's Texting.....

Image- Wryn's Texting from Tiddly Inks.
Papers- Pebbles 'Happy Day'.
Sentiment and speech bubble- MFT Friend Request.

Hi everyone!!

Well, I'm feeling a bit grumpy today! lol!! I started doing my 10,000 steps a day again yesterday and happily walked to the Drs and back in my walking boots but dopey here forgot to put my proper walking socks on and ended up with a hideous entire heel sized blister on my right foot. So today, when I attempted to do my walk, (.....4 attempts....walked my BF's dog just fine, came home for a wee before going on my walk, got halfway down the field and my blister exploded soaking my sock and shoe and ooooh my goodness did it hurt!!!! so hobbled home, changed socks, fresh blister plaster, off I went again..... not quite so far down the field my heel told me that walking shoes were just not going to happen so I hobbled home again and swapped into my go walks.....pootled off down the paths on the estate and got a teensy bit further than down the field walks had gone only for my heel to tell me once again that no, this was not happening!!!! lol!! hobbled home and did a bit of crying!! ............wimp!!!!!! but I do love my big walk!!! so any steps happening today have had to step around the house or on the spot!! hey ho!!!

Then to add to my woes of the day, girly time decided to begin too !!!! What a day???!!!!! but it's not all bad because to cheer myself up I decided to make a card up with the gorgeous Wryn's Texting from Tiddly Inks. She is just too sweet!!! and I had some scrummy papers in he stash of Lou just right for the job too!!

I used my MFT Friend Request stamp and die set for the sentiment. I tried to find a link for you all but it seems MFT have retired it!!

Right, I'm off to make a coffee and get a little more stepping in! I have a fair few steps left to do, around the house isn't as much fun as my beautiful fields walk!!!!! Thank you for popping in,
Huge hugs Lou xxx

Basketball Teen.................

Morning all!

I'm in with a post for you today using the gorgeous new  Basketball Teen S from Mo's Digital Pencil. He is just the bomb!! I always find something in the shop that reminds me of my little guy! He may not be this buff yet but he does love basketball!! And!! even cooler! there are 2 versions of this super image....
You can click on them to be magically pinged to their home in the store!!!

Of course, my little guy is a full-time prescription glasses wearer so I needed to send a quick ping off to Da Boss to ask her if she could please design me some glasses for the Basketball dude so I could make him more my little Mo-ish! and of course, she delivered super quick and with a super cool frame too!

Inside follows the theme with a teeny version of the same dude inside and the 'You're a star' sentiment. I didn't want a sentiment for the front because....well....let's be honest...I can never wait to give Mo a card I know he will squeal over!! so he'll probably get this card at the end of term next week!!!

And me for today...I will be attempting to tidy the doom that is my outside crafty room. I feel ready to pootle on back out there with all my crafty bits now I'm getting much better but boy oh boy.......I think a search party may be required if no one has seen me in a couple of days!!!!!! I think I might just have it done by the time I've finished my Herceptin injections in April!!! bwah ha ha ha!!!!

Right, breakfast and school run to sort so I had better get a wriggle on!! Thank you for popping in, Hugs Lou xx
